Lake Louise is a glacial lake within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. Lake Louise is named after the Princess Louise Caroline Alberta (1848-1939), the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria. She was the wife of the Marquess of Lorne, who was the Governor General of Canada from 1878 to 1883. The turquoise color of the water comes from rock flour carried into the lake by melt-water from the glaciers that overlook the lake.

You will get 1 practice run, plus 2 race runs. Join in the fun! Each DSC member who runs the course adds points for Dallas Ski Club!! Awards will be presented at the Farewell Party!

Our tour operator offers Ski Trip Preserver insurance through Red Sky Travel Insurance which provides coverage in the event of trip delay, interruption or cancellation, baggage and equipment delay, loss or theft and medical expense coverage. This ski vacation specific poicy also provides cover for lack of snowfall causing ski faciity closure, inhabitabiity of lodging due to unforeseen circumstances, emergency and roadside assistance. They feel this coverage is absolutey essential for international trips (including Canada) where medical costs for injury or illness may not be coveed by your US based healthcare plan.

Lake Louise TSC Ski Trip - Please make sure the Trip Leader gets your completed and signed DSC Trip Application & a copy of your Passport, as well as your AA AAdvantage #. Please make sure that your Passport doesn't expire until at least 6 months after our return date, e.g., it should be good until at least 9-18-23.
Please let the Trip Leader know if you have any food restrictions or special needs.
Cancellation Policy:
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made after deposit paid and prior to the first scheduled payment due date will result in a $50 administrative cancellation fee.
Any cancellation made after the first scheduled payment due date will result in the loss of all moneys paid UNLESS: 1) a wait list exists, and a “gender specific” replacement can accommodate the cancellation; 2) a wait list does not exist, and the canceling party can provide an appropriate “gender specific” replacement; or 3) the trip leader receives and signs up a “gender specific” participant to replace the canceled participant after having received his/her notice to cancel. If a replacement is obtained, an administrative cancellation fee of $100 AND the cost of an “airline ticket name change” (if one required) will be deducted from any refund to the canceled participant. When a wait list is in effect, substitutions of one’s own reservation is prohibited.
Note: The afore stated policy remains in effect when a cancellation is made as a result of a medical or family death situation which prohibits the attendance of the trip participant. Trip participants are encouraged to subscribe to a Trip Cancellation Insurance to ensure reimbursement for such situations. Reimbursement for such cancellation is between the Insurance Company and the insured and not the DSC. Work related cancellations are not generally accommodated by Trip Cancellation Insurance.
