*If you choose Land Only, we have a limited number of extra seats available on our shuttle from the airport to Purgatory - you must meet us in the Durango airport by 10:15 am on January 21st.  Cost is $50 RT.  The shuttle is already included in the Full Trip price.

Welcome to Purgatory Resort!  Join DSC as we enjoy this winter wonderland with 88 trails, three terrain parks and 1,360 skiable acres.  With 10 chairlifts, and rarely any lines, it's simple to zip around the mountain and enjoy the spectacular scenery amidst the rugged San Juan Mountains.  

With unparalleled views of the magnificent San Juan Mountains and more than 300 days of sunshine a year, Purgatory  provides an incredible setting for our first Dallas Ski Club ski trip of 2021.

Lodging - In the picture above, our Lodge is the brown building on the right at the bottom of the mountain - there's an outdoor swimming pool right next to the Purgatory Lodge!
We'll be staying in the Purgatory Lodge - the resort's newest property.  This luxury ski-in/ski-out is the anchor of the Purgatory Village featuring upgraded skier services and a new Purgy's Day Lodge.  All units have unparalleled views of the ski area, Needles Mountains or Purgatory Village.  Units are complete with luxurious furnishings, including granite countertops, gas fireplaces, flat screen TV's, balcony, wireless internet and washer/dryer.  Guests of Purgatory Lodge enjoy access to their concierge service, pool and spa, fitness center and Cabana bar family game room.  Located in the heart of the Village Center, we'll have condos with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, kitchen and large dining room/living room area.

Transportation
Flying on American Airlines into Durango airport, it's about an hour shuttle ride to Purgatory Resort, which gets us to the Resort in early afternoon.  Plenty of time to pick up rentals and enjoy an early Dallas Ski Club Welcome Happy Hour!

Trip Insurance is encouraged.  

Cancellations
Dallas Ski Club Cancellation Policy is amended voiding the DSC Administrative Cancellation Fee if you cancel prior to 11-30-20.  You will be able to cancel with no penalty anytime prior to November 30, 2020.  In addition, if there are governmental regulations restricting travel either in Durango or Dallas, this trip will be cancelled with full refunds.

To complete your registration, you will need to complete and sign the Trip Application. You will find the Trip Application here on our website, under the Trips tab or you can click the link above next to 'Additional Info'. Print it, complete it, sign it and return by mail or email. You can also take a picture of the completed and signed Trip Application - then email or text it to the Trip Leader.
Cancellation Policy:
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made after deposit paid and prior to the first scheduled payment due date will result in a $50 administrative cancellation fee.

Any cancellation made after the first scheduled payment due date will result in the loss of all moneys paid UNLESS: 1) a wait list exists, and a “gender specific” replacement can accommodate the cancellation; 2) a wait list does not exist, and the canceling party can provide an appropriate “gender specific” replacement; or 3) the trip leader receives and signs up a “gender specific” participant to replace the canceled participant after having received his/her notice to cancel. If a replacement is obtained, an administrative cancellation fee of $100 AND the cost of an “airline ticket name change” (if one required) will be deducted from any refund to the canceled participant. When a wait list is in effect, substitutions of one’s own reservation is prohibited.

Note: The afore stated policy remains in effect when a cancellation is made as a result of a medical or family death situation which prohibits the attendance of the trip participant. Trip participants are encouraged to subscribe to a Trip Cancellation Insurance to ensure reimbursement for such situations. Reimbursement for such cancellation is between the Insurance Company and the insured and not the DSC. Work related cancellations are not generally accommodated by Trip Cancellation Insurance.
